Full-time Band 5 Theatre Practitioner in Elective Orthopaedic Theatres
Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest standards of care and safety within the Elective Orthopaedic Theatres and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary teams, implement and maintain systems and processes which ensure standards are maintained
* Ongoing orientation and mentor support
* Continuous personal development supported
* Support colleagues and foster a learning culture which values high quality safe patient care
* Work in partnership with Orthopaedic colleagues to ensure multi-disciplinary team work in achieving agreed, common goals / outcomes across the Elective Orthopaedic service
* Flexibility and strong organisational skills
* Enthusiastic and motivated to improve services
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to interact effectively with peers and junior and senior colleagues
* Willingness to learn a variety of theatre skills and engage in departmental link roles
