Job Description
Bumi Armada UK Limited (BAUK) currently have a permanent staff opportunity for a Marine Engineer to join the Armada Kraken FPSO on a 3:4:3:5 rotational pattern. The successful candidate will have relevant offshore experience and be responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the installation's utility systems. Key responsibilities are:
1. Carrying out all utility system maintenance and repairs on the installation with the Utility Team Leader and provide technical guidance on utilities-related equipment.
2. Ensuring all risks in the utilities operation and maintenance are identified, and comply with procedures
3. Ensuring knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policies and instructions.
4. Communicating closely with the HSE Advisor on HSEQ matters.
5. Ensuring knowledge of the installation’s plant and machinery, and its safe operation and maintenance.
6. Implementing planned and corrective maintenance on all power generation, engine room, and boiler equipment offshore, to ensure that maximum compliance and production targets can be achieved.
7. Reporting deficiencies and malfunctions to the Utility Team Leader, discussing and analysing technical and spares issues with the Materials Coordinator and proposing solutions related to eventual bottl...
