Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers to support the educational and social development of pupils. Whether working one-to-one, with small groups or within the whole class, your support will be key to ensuring pupils reach their full potential. Role Responsibilities: Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged in lessons Assist in planning and delivering targeted interventions or classroom activities Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment Provide support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusive learning experiences Contribute to assessments and maintain accurate records of pupil progress Requirements for TA: Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills A nurturing and patient approach with a passion for education Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) GSL Education Offers: Competitive daily rates based on qualifications and experience.
