Location: The Old Station Nursery Henley, Orchard Farm, Fairmile, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 6AD About our Nursery The Old Station Nursery Henley is a recently refurbished, premium nursery offering three distinct learning enhancements for your child; these are a Forest School, Organic growing and food and child-friendly cooking classes. Located on Fair Mile Orchard Farm, the jewel in the crown at The Old Station Nursery Henley is the wonderful Forest School. Surrounded by fields and woodland areas we are lucky to have a Forest School area within our own garden as well as a wooded area at the top of the hill. The Old Station Nursery Henley is located on the edge of Henley-on-Thames. If you are coming from Oxford, turn off Fairmile on your left, after the Stonor Park turning, following the signs. If you are coming from Henley, we are located on the right about half a mile down the Fairmile, again looking out for the signs. There is a car park next to the nursery for convenience. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: • Provide 1:1 support to ensure the child can safely access all aspects of the Early Years curriculum. • Support the child through daily routines, transitions, play-based learning, and personal care. • Use a consistent, calm and structured approach to help the child regulate and engage. • Monitor and support during medical needs (training will be provided for epilepsy awareness). • Work closely with the SENCO, nursery team, and external professionals to follow the child’s support plan. About You: • You are kind, calm, and consistent in your approach to working with children. • You have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. • You’re a team player who communicates clearly with colleagues and families. • You’re adaptable and able to follow routines and strategies that help the child feel safe. • SEND experience is not essential, but it would be an advantage. • Early Years experience is not essential, but would be an advantage. • You are open to learning and willing to undertake any necessary training.
