With the addition of the Tempus Hotel, Bar and Restaurant in 2023 (recently voted in the Top 100 UK Hotels by The Times) we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team to help us take the business to the next level.
Ideal applicants will have experience of managing a maintenance team, who can lead by example showing exceptional skills in all things maintenance, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times. *Your responsibilities*
As Estates Manager you will work closely with all departments to ensure all of our grounds and properties are kept to optimal standards.
Reporting into the Directors, your role will entail:
* Responsible for the planned and ad hoc project based maintenance and upkeep of our properties and grounds. This role is hands on, so expect to lead by example.
* Manage an effective team of gardeners and maintenance assistants with a culture of high standards and health and safety.
* Ensure all Risk Assessments and Methods Statements, site induction for all team members and subcontractors are completed.
* Ensure all properties are correctly heated, ventilated and fully complaint.
* Procurement of supplies for preventive maintenance as well as improvements to our properties and grounds – ad hoc projects.
* Be able to support your team by covering maintenance tasks when required as well as supporting on clear-ups from events.
* Attend daily HoD meeting to update on maintenance team objectives and identify tasks to add to team worksheets.
* Ensure all company vehicles and equipment’s are serviced, secure and compliant.
* Draw up annual maintenance schedules, working within the parameters of the business to ensure we maintain high standards throughout.
*The ideal candidate must* *have -*
· Proven track record of project management construction projects, refurbishment projects and landscaping projected.
· A sound knowledge of joinery, plumbing, electrics is essential
· Experience in groundworks – experience using telescopic handler, excavator and dumper.
· At least 2 years’ experience managing a maintenance team
· Strong digital competencies across a range of applications.
· Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Construction Design and Management Regulations.
· Own transport and Full UK Drivers Licence
· Be able to work flexibly including weekend cover. Flexible working hours are also available.
Desirable
· SSSTS or SMSTS
· Equipment Tickets (Telescopic handler, excavator, dumper, mini digger).
· Legionella qualification
· First Aid
