As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and deliver projects with confidence, professionalism, and a hands-on approach.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple electrical contracts from inception to completion. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, manage project teams and subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and oversee project financials, quality, and timelines.
This is based working from our Warrington HQ, with site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage multiple electrical contracts across a variety of sectors.
* Oversee site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers.
* Prepare and monitor project programmes, schedules, and budgets.
* Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, and manage project documentation.
* Support pre-construction activities including estimating and bid support.
* Report regularly to senior management on project performance, risks, and outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a similar Contracts Manager role within the electrical or M&E sector.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, compliance requirements, and site delivery.
* Able to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
* Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
* Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation (Essential)
* SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
* ECS/JIB Gold Card (Desirable)
* Project Management or HNC/HND qualifications (Advantageous)
