Nursery Nurse – Carlisle Humly is recruiting a Nursery Nurse to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 07/09/2026. This role would suit a qualified early years professional or teacher who is confident working across nursery age groups and enjoys delivering a hands-on, play-based approach within a supportive setting. What You’ll Be Doing * Supporting children across baby, toddler, and pre-school rooms * Delivering engaging, play-based learning activities in line with EYFS * Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children * Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development * Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress * Working collaboratively with staff and communicating effectively with parents What You’ll Bring * Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience working within nursery or early years settings * A caring, energetic, and proactive approach to childcare * Strong understanding of the EYFS framework * Ability to work flexibly across different age groups * Commitment to safeguarding and child development Pay £13.70 – £14.50 per hour Additional Benefits ...
