We're looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant that brings energy, curiosity and a can‑do spirit. Someone who loves the buzz of service and the joy of making someone's day. Thatcher's Hotel is a charming Tudor style property set in the heart of the glorious Surrey countryside. With 87 newly refurbished rooms, with multiple event and conference spaces, Thatcher's is a stunning property to work within.
How you'll bring the magic to the floor as our Food & Beverage Assistant:
- Has a positive, can‑do attitude towards customers and other team.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning about all things food and drink - including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the "perfect serve".
- A willingness to understand different food styles and service standards, learn the menus, and confidently explain dishes to customers.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast‑paced environment.
- The ability to deliver great service - taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
- Commitment to meeting site service standards and working effectively as part of the team.
- A developing or good understanding of preparing coffees and serving alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rata basis.
- A willingness to continue your development through in‑house and external training sessions.
