As a senior commercial leader within the Global Pharma Segment at Phillips Medisize, you will lead Sales and Business Development for our Products and Services, with a strong focus on inhaled drug–device combination products. Your mission is to grow the business by supporting ongoing customer engagements, opening new strategic accounts, and converting development-stage opportunities into long‑term commercial manufacturing partnerships. You will play a critical role in shaping our future growth while representing Phillips Medisize as a trusted partner to global pharmaceutical leaders.
What You Will Do
* Own and deliver your personal annual sales target, taking full accountability for results.
* Build and convert a robust inhalation‑focused sales pipeline across development (clinical‑stage formulation and drug‑device combination development) and commercial manufacturing opportunities.
* Develop, nurture, and strengthen strategic customer relationships, leading negotiations to achieve sustainable “win/win” outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional and global teams (Asia, Europe, US, UK), including Innovation & Development, Operations, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, and Platform teams, to win and successfully execute programs.
* Establish and maintain strong C‑suite relationships with key customers.
* Provide strong account management, ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term partnership growth.
* Identify emerging technology and market trends and translate them into future Phillips Medisize strategic capabilities.
* Actively participate in and support marketing and business development activities, including conferences and customer events.
Who You Are
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline.
* You bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical services market.
* You have a proven track record of developing and closing new business across customers, markets, and technologies.
* You possess strong ownership mentality, are comfortable challenging the status‑quo, and consistently drive discussions toward positive outcomes.
* You understand your market deeply, including customers, competitors, technologies, and emerging trends.
* You are passionate about sales, technology, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
* You are ambitious, driven, resilient, and maintain a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
* You demonstrate strong learning agility and a desire to continuously develop yourself.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Direct experience selling inhaled drug–device combination product development and manufacturing services.
* Knowledge of drug–device combination products for other routes of administration, preferably injectables.
* Established relationships with senior executives across the pharmaceutical industry.
* Significant experience developing new customers, programs, and long‑term partnerships.
* Proven success in negotiating complex customer contracts, including licensing agreements.
* Strong strategic and financial acumen with the ability to clearly articulate market segments and value propositions.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
* Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 40–60%).
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to act as a catalyst for change, guided by integrity, trust, and strong personal values.
