Responsibilities: We support the Head of Engineering for Sensor Systems on all hardware-related activities, including budget, skills mix, capacity, process, compliance, tools, infrastructure, and hardware strategy. We provide direction, oversight, and mentoring to the Hardware Team. We ensure effective collaboration between the Hardware Team and key stakeholders. We develop and maintain metrics to support hardware task planning and estimating. We identify, mitigate, and escalate issues related to the execution of hardware tasks when required. We maintain a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect across the team. We influence technical solutions and ways of working within our hardware function. We support the growth and development of the Hardware Team.
