Project Manager – Nature Based Solutions

The Opportunity
Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is recruiting a Project Manager to join our Solutions By Nature (SBN) team. SBN focuses on delivering nature‑based solutions that work with natural systems to create sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Projects include Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), river restoration, fish passes, green infrastructure, and Integrated Constructed Wetlands (ICWs). This role works across some of the UK’s most environmentally sensitive and visually impactful landscapes and plays a key role in delivering projects that directly benefit ecosystems and communities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design and delivery
* Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects across scope, time, cost, quality and risk
* Manage project budgets, programmes and resources to meet or exceed financial targets
* Support tender submissions, including commercial and quality responses
* Develop delivery strategies aligned to client objectives
* Manage contracts across a range of delivery models
* Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Chair client and project meetings
* Embed Health, Safety & Wellbeing across all activities
* Support wider design & build project delivery across Binnies where required
About You
* Professional qualification in Project Management and/or an environmental or engineering discipline
* Experience delivering Design & Build projects
* Strong understanding of commercial models and tender development
* Experience managing programmes (e.g. Microsoft Project or equivalent)
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* Experience in contract management and administration
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving
* Understanding of health, safety, compliance and CDM requirements
* Experience within the water sector or a relevant transferable sector
* Genuine interest in environmental and sustainable construction solutions
