Job Description:
OneMedical Group is looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their teams in Milton Keynes. The role involves making autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients registered with our GP Practices. Since September 2023, OneMedical Group has delivered excellent care services across three sites in Milton Keynes: Brooklands Health Centre, Whitehouse Surgery, and Neath Hill Health Centre.
As an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner, you will have experience within a primary care setting, and your high standards of patient care will inspire your colleagues.
The role includes standard nursing duties and is accountable, along with the Lead Nurse, for the clinical governance of the practice. It provides clinical leadership to ensure the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of services to all patients.
Responsibilities include:
* Being registered with current NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration
* Having a MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent qualification
* Being a certified Independent Prescriber
* Managing whole episodes of care within a multidisciplinary team
* Exhibiting strong communication skills, patience, and a friendly attitude
* Working productively in high-pressure environments with a can-do attitude
* Having primary care experience and experience in minor illness management

Brooklands Health Centre: Located in Broughton, Milton Keynes, with good transport links, just a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and under 2 miles from the M1.
Whitehouse Surgery: A state-of-the-art, purpose-built health centre open to all Milton Keynes residents, with ample parking and a comprehensive team including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, social prescribers, and mental health workers. The practice offers high levels of care and tailored services.
