Role Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead operations in our 20,000 sq. ft. facility. You'll be responsible for overseeing goods in/out, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining effective stock control, and driving team performance.
This is a key leadership role where you'll be expected to deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, continuously improving processes and motivating your team to achieve high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee warehouse operations
Lead warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
· Coordinate transport for deliveries/collections
· As H&S officer for your department you must maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse and champion best practice
· Ensure stock is managed in line with best practices. Work closely with purchasing to identify shortfalls before despatch, stock replenishing, overstock, short dates and stock cleanse opportunities.
· Lead the stock take preparation
· Support booking system accuracy
· Suggest and support improvement activities within your area
· Carry out audits as required
· Ensure all daily work is completed on time and to standard
HR management of your team
· Lead, support, and motivate your team
· Monitor team and individual performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
· Set KPIs and ensure they are consistently achieved or exceeded
· Ensure daily team briefings are completed
· Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues
· Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
· Manage workflow across all areas to meet business needs
· Conduct performance reviews and annual appraisals in line with company policy
· Identify and mentor talent within the team
· Drive performance to meet or exceed all operational targets

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
· Logistics or warehouse-related qualifications
· IOSH/NEBOSH or similar H&S training
· Experience in high-volume, fast-paced operations
· Excellent people management skills and experience
