We’re looking for a Building Maintenance Engineers to join our Estates teams covering our London-based Hospitals. This role is vital in ensuring a first class building maintenance service within the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work.

What you’ll do:

1. Maintaining, servicing and testing various equipment
2. To ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and to adhere to HCA Healthcare policy and procedures.
3. Be the main point of contact for all engineering and maintenance queries
4. Carry out PPM’s and daily checks, ensuring the area is well maintained, operational and tidy at all times.
5. To work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives.
6. Liaising with the Landlord Management team and co-ordinating any works affecting HCA demise, attending any update meetings as required.
7. On site contractor management, reviewing RAMs and raising permits to work.

What you’ll bring: (Keep it simple in terms of qualifications/training they need)

8. Qualified in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ in Plumbing/Electrician or an engineering building services qualification
9. Good understanding of BMS Systems
10. Previous experience within a Hospital or similar organisation
11. Health and Safety, COSHH
12. General knowledge of Fire regulations
13. Excellent customer care and communication skills
14. Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
