We're looking for someone who's passionate about student support, mental health and making college a place where everyone feels safe, head and empowered.
Responsibilities
* Support students through life's ups and downs with therapeutic interventions, drop-ins and group sessions
* Help students build confidence, resilience and practical study skills
* Work with staff, parents and external agencies to remove barriers to learning
* Manage a caseload of students, including those with EHCPs and SEMH needs) and help them thrive
* Advocating for wellbeing across the college, whether it's through events, transition support or crisis response
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in youth work, mentoring, guidance, or a proven track record in this field
* A calm, empathetic approach and the ability to read situations intuitively
* Experience supporting students with mental health challenges, including anxiety, ASD and emotional-based school avoidance
* Confidence in working with multi-agency teams and navigating complex support systems
* A non-judgemental attitude and a genuine passions for inclusion
