The role
We are offering a permanent full-time Class 1 Day Driver position with opportunities for local day shifts and Irish tramping from either Mallusk or Armagh depots.
Hours of work: Start times between 05:00 - 06:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.
Pay & Benefits
- Up to £2000 annual bonus based on performance and attendance over 46 weeks
- Overtime pay at £18 per hour
- Full private medical and dental insurance for driver, partner, and two children after 9 months
- Nights out £27.50, weekends additional
- Paye only
Key Duties
- Operate trucks safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and company policies
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, secure cargo, and deliver goods on time
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Team
- Keep vehicles clean and report mechanical issues promptly
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- ADR license is advantageous
- Knowledge of Irish transport routes
- Ability to manage time effectively and stay punctual
- Cleanliness and respect for vehicles are essential
