About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work remotely in the UK, with occasional visits to our Bournemouth HQ. The role offers a salary of £35,000 plus benefits including pension, life insurance, discounted travel, and more.
Responsibilities
* Mentor and guide a team of 60-80 Travel Consultants.
* Coach team members on supplier selection, technology use, and building confidence.
* Identify business opportunities and teach your team to do the same.
* Teach closing deals and maintaining profitability.
* Communicate effectively, simplifying complex issues.
* Collaborate with marketing to support your team.
* Ensure excellent customer service.
* Track team performance and provide feedback.
Candidate Requirements
Essential: Proven coaching ability, sales experience in travel, leadership skills, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, tech-savviness, customer service experience, self-motivation, travel industry knowledge.
Desirable: Business ownership experience, lead generation skills, coaching qualifications like ILM Level 5.
