The Role: Internal Sales Executive
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager at our Hilsea Office. As the Business Development Manager, you will support and help facilitate the development of new business, managing, maintaining and maximising existing business and increasing brand presence and awareness. The role will involve contacting customers over the phone and face to face meetings when required. Full product and industry training will be given for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Internal Sales Executive
* Manage a portfolio of accounts for new and existing customers from sales to delivery
* Proactive in seeking new business opportunities in the market
* Recommend appropriate products and services
* Build and maintain new and existing accounts
* Produce quotes and proposals for clients
* Work closely with external Area Sales Managers
* Ensure all daily orders are processed and dispatched
* Achieve KPI’s focused on call statistics, sales figures, and product lines
* Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
Your Skills and Experience: Internal Sales Executive
* Previous experience in a sales account management background ideally within the lighting industry
* Establish strong relationships with new clients by using your own initiative
* Understand the customer's needs and deliver an excellent customer experience
* Ability to work to multiple deadlines / timeframes
* Experience of sales by telephone
* Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
