Required as soon as possible Reference: 8108 Burton End Primary Academy opened a new Reception and Key Stage One specialist SEND unit in September 2020. The SEND Hub provides a multi-sensory bespoke curriculum for children with a range of special educational needs. When appropriate, the children will be encouraged to join whole school activities as well as learning in the classroom. We are looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant who will be committed to working alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to help support the diverse range of needs. You would ideally have achieved at least a level 3 childcare qualification or similar, a GCSE equivalent in English and Mathematics, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have previous experience of working with children with special educational needs.
