And when you join us, you'll be a part of this genuinely collaborative environment, where everyone's voice is valued and treated equally.

We're passionate about what we do, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Simply put, this a great place to be. So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life.

Discipline

As a Senior Structural / Bridge Engineer in our Bridges and Civils team within our Transportation business, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation and critical national Infrastructure. We deliver a diverse range of significant and challenging projects across the UK and Ireland, within both Heavy and Light Rail environments, including the Southern Integrated Design (SID) Framework, Midland Main Line Upgrade as well as numerous station and depot projects.

In addition to our strong rail portfolio, the team contributes to a broad range of non‑rail civil engineering sectors, including highways, buildings, aviation infrastructure, local authority structures and wider infrastructure improvement schemes. This diversity provides opportunities to apply your structural expertise across multiple markets, supporting new build, renewal, maintenance and assessment projects that make a real difference to communities.

Beyond transportation and local infrastructure, we also play an important role in defence and nuclear programmes, delivering complex civil and structural engineering solutions for secure defence estates, nuclear licensed sites and national initiatives such as the Rolls‑Royce Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme. This breadth of work allows you to contribute to a wide portfolio of nationally significant projects.

You'll take pride in delivering high‑quality civil and structural designs across new build, renewal, maintenance and assessment schemes, ensuring robust, safe and enduring solutions. You will collaborate with national and international design teams, bringing your technical insight, leadership and engineering judgement to deliver positive and sustainable outcomes for clients, communities and the environment.
