Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum
Your Mission:
As a Hardware Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of innovation, guiding a talented team of engineers in the design and support of cutting-edge technology. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Lead an electronics design team with both managerial and technical expertise.
* Oversee work package management, including cost, schedule, risks, and opportunities.
* Ensure the engineering team meets the demands of our production programs.
* Provide technical governance and ensure adherence to company processes.
* Drive cost and performance trade-offs for optimal results.
* Manage Control Accounts effectively.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Demonstrated high performance in leading engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle.
* Proven experience with cost and planning management tools, optimizing solutions, and minimizing impacts from dependencies.
* Experience in identifying improvements in working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction.
* Knowledge of supporting production programs.
Desirable:
* Experience with PLD/FPGA design.
* Familiarity with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
* Experience with work-package management tools like MSP or JIRA.
