You will:
* Support the Maintenance or Facilities Manager in ensuring all allocated tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
* Be comfortable working independently, but also within a wider team of Maintenance Assistants, Gardeners at any given time.
* Be agile in responding to emergency maintenance calls, this includes internal teams, and external or third party contractors.
* Be guest focused and approachable, whilst ensuring discretion and awareness of our guests' time and privacy during their stay with us.
* Regularly conduct troubleshooting to solve minor technical, internal, or exterior issues (e.g, guest bedrooms, to the kitchen, to the bar).
* Remain calm under pressure, or when responding to urgent tasks, including power cuts or similar.
* Plan and oversee renovations and construction projects.
* Show initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ensure all Company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being followed.
* Regularly conduct tests on all equipment and machinery ensuring it is safe to use, and does not pose any dangers to individuals.
