What You'll Be Doing: Design industrial control systems using EPLAN (or similar) Develop 2D panel layouts and detailed electrical schematics Support cross-functional teams across design, build, and delivery Occasionally assist hands-on with fault-finding and workshop support Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards (ISO 13849, BS EN 60204) Travel to client sites across the UK, including in aerospace and defence sectors What We're Looking For: HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Solid experience designing industrial electrical systems Strong grasp of relevant standards (ISO 13849 / BS EN 60204) Confident in managing projects independently and meeting deadlines A problem solver with a passion for innovation UK citizenship (due to sector security requirements) Full UK driving licence Desirable: Familiarity with safety-critical systems and emergency stop design Workshop-level understanding of fault-finding and testing Excellent communication and documentation skills Working Hours: Mon–Thu: 08:30–17:00 | Fri: 08:30–16:00 (Flexible start/finish times available) What’s on Offer: Competitive salary (DOE) 25 days holiday bank holidays Flexible, supportive working environment Company pension & occupational sick pay Free on-site parking Generous travel and overnight allowances Long-term career development on exciting, high-impact projects Interested?
