Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the smooth running of food production and service.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient team management.
* Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
* Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts and creativity in dish presentation.
* Previous experience in food production, preparation, and service within a fast-paced kitchen setting is essential.
