To provide clinical leadership and operational management to Adult Community Mental Health services, within the Trust. To be accountable for the direct delivery of adult community mental health services across defined areas of responsibility. The post holder will ensure delivery of high standards of care, clinical governance arrangements and a commitment to improving the quality agenda and contribute to the care trust agenda as a member of the management team. To contribute, as part of the management team, to the Trust's strategic agenda and business planning systems for own area of responsibility. The post holder is expected to work within organisational and other national and local policies to interpret and embed those within their work area and to be accountable for service development and its practical implementation. The post holder may be required to deputise for their line manager or provide cover for a peer colleague, as required.
In addition the post holder will be expected to support the implementation of various projects and new initiatives as they arise.
In conjunction with the line manager the post holder is responsible for ensuring the performance targets and key performance indicators are achieved and maintained.
The post holder will maintain, monitor and facilitate the delivery of a high quality service in the most efficient and effective manner within existing constraints and within the parameters set out within the contracting agreement between Bradford District Care Trust and the different commissioning groups.
The post holder will ensure that standards of practice are maintained through the implementation of the quality agenda, CQC standards, Audit, Key Lines of Enquire.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
