Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties
* Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care
* Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals regarding children's development
* Organise and lead group activities that promote learning and social skills
* Assist in managing nursery staff schedules and supporting team leadership when required
* Support the integration of new children into the nursery environment
* Drive company vehicles for nursery outings or errands as needed
Experience
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
* Demonstrated leadership qualities in previous roles within childcare or education environments
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
* Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or supplies as necessary
