*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role offers the opportunity to develop management and leadership skills within a supportive setting, contributing positively to children's growth and development. *Duties* * Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care * Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods * Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations * Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines * Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals regarding children's development * Organise and lead group activities that promote learning and social skills * Assist in managing nursery staff schedules and supporting team leadership when required * Support the integration of new children into the nursery environment * Drive company vehicles for nursery outings or errands as needed *Experience* * Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting * Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively * Demonstrated leadership qualities in previous roles within childcare or education environments * Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies * Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or supplies as necessary This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about child development, possess strong organisational abilities, and are eager to contribute positively to a dynamic nursery environment.
