Team Leader – Site Operations

We’re looking for a proactive and safety-conscious Team Leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our processing site. Working on a 24/7 shift pattern, you’ll lead a team of operatives, ensuring daily targets are met while maintaining high standards in health, safety and environmental compliance.
Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days/Nights
Working Hours: 38.62 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily KPIs
* Ensure safe operation of plant and equipment across the site
* Communicate clearly and effectively with operatives to ensure task understanding
* Enforce health and safety procedures, report incidents, and take corrective action
* Manage contractors on site and issue permits to work (training provided)
* Oversee environmental and quality procedures
* Support traffic management and site coordination
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Self‑motivated with a proactive, can‑do attitude
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities
* Flexible and adaptable approach
* Previous experience in the waste management industry (desirable)
