Solicitor: Children's Safeguarding
We are Telford & Wrekin Council, seeking a qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK to join our Lexcel‑accredited Legal Team on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will support child safeguarding efforts across the council.
Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice, assistance and support to council officers, elected members, and external clients.
* Contribute to safeguarding initiatives, ensuring best practice for our most vulnerable residents.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK.
* Experience or interest in children’s safeguarding (expected).
