Excellent Opportunity for Deskside Application Support Specialist to be part of our Infrastructure Services Practice Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud, Data Centres, DevOps, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Responsibilities
* Responsible in using our helpdesk system ensure that all service requests are triaged, answered, and resolved in a timely manner to meet our SLA`s
* To work with our vendors to log service tickets and follow up on incidents to ensure we are meeting SLA`s for service.
* Responsible to be a resource for the Project Ops team where required (hardware build /Testing/application support)
* Responsible to Complete regular PCI Audits, being meticulous with details.
* Responsible to update asset management information
* Responsible to Assist with regular reviews of user’s access to the various systems at the tour and studios.
* Assisting in system upgrades where necessary, lead on the testing for these upgrades, partnering with the business for user acceptance testing.
* To have In-depth understanding of Business Processes & Requirements and effectively utilizing that knowledge for prioritization and timely resolution.
* To assist with any data protection reviews or requests to remove data as instructed by our legal teams.
* Responsible in Forming part of Service team that support priority issues and on an “on call” basis.
Essential Skills
* Good working experience in a Deskside support or Application Support role.
* Extensive experience in Systems, applications, Networking, Servers, Desktop, Monitoring, troubleshooting and end user support.
* Experienced in investigating issues with complex transactional Point of Sale systems and resolving these issues.
* Previous Knowledge and experience of Attractions ticketing systems desirable but not essential.
* Previous Knowledge and experience of Retail POS, Retail Ecommerce and Warehouse Management and Inventory systems system desirable but not essential.
* Experience with scripting languages.
* Experience of working in PCI environment.
* Extensive experience in administration of Cloud Environments (AWS, AZURE), Windows Servers, Virtualization technologies.
Preferred Experience:
* Media experience preferred.
