Senior Data Business Analyst - Capital & RWA Transformation | £800-850/day | Major Bank
Location: Canary Wharf, London (3 days/week onsite)
Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025 (extension likely)
We are working with a major investment bank to hire a Senior Business Analyst for their Markets Transformation team. This role focuses on enhancing capital calculation and management across asset classes by streamlining data architecture, analyzing current versus target states, and designing supporting solutions for Credit RWA reporting.
The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across front office, quants, finance, and technology. Key skills include strong product knowledge, trade lifecycle expertise, solution design experience, and familiarity with risk, P&L, and regulatory data.
Role Focus:
* Business Analysis and Solution Design
* RWA remediation and architecture simplification
* Engagement with multiple business lines
* Analysis of current vs future states and designing solutions
* Coordination with IT, Quants, and Front Office
* Presenting solutions to stakeholders
Key Requirements:
* Strong product knowledge/experience: OTCs, ETDs
* Experience with front office risk, trading, and P&L analytics
* Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle from front to back
* Ability to simplify trade and data flows
* Experience in gap analysis and solution design
* Ability to articulate and present architecture decisions clearly
* Must-have: strong trade workflow and product understanding
* Must-have: experience with current-to-future state analysis and solutioning
Nice to Have:
