We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our family run business. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the smooth running of our team. We will provide training for the right individual including an MOT Tester course ( subject to qualifications)
The position involves working with a range of tools and technical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on cars, vans and motorhomes
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools. Training will be provided.
* Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly tasks.
* Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment safely.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience
* Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving equipment repair and maintenance.
* Strong mechanical knowledge.
* Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: £22,568.00-£33,000.00 per year
