The Role:
We are seeking an organised, friendly and professional School Receptionist to join our administrative team. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils, you will play an important role in creating a warm and efficient reception environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming visitors, parents and pupils to the school in a professional and courteous manner
* Answering phone calls, taking messages and handling general enquiries
* Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
* Maintaining accurate records and assisting with administrative tasks
* Supporting staff with general office duties (as required)
* Upholding safeguarding procedures and ensuring visitor protocols are followed
About You:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience an advantage)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Confident using IT systems (Microsoft Office, email, databases)
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Warm, approachable and professional manner

Contract: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm, 3 days per Week – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Term time only plus 2 inset days
Salary: Grade E6 - £25,583 full time equivalent, reduced pro rata due to part time and term time working.
Start Date: to be discussed at interview
