At BrandAlley, we're on an exciting journey of transformation, and we're looking for an exceptional People Operations Manager/Specialist to help lead the way. In this role, you'll be the People Ops expert, ensuring our processes are efficient, systems are connected, and employees feel supported. A key part of your role will be embedding our new HRIS, Cezanne, while managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to policy updates. What will you be doing?
1. Strategic partnership and recruitment: Owning hiring across BrandAlley, delivering full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, managing processes, and closing candidates. Building talent pipelines and reporting on hiring metrics.
2. Onboarding experience: Building and delivering an exceptional onboarding process to ensure new hires are productive quickly and have all necessary tools, including overseeing automated probation processes.
3. Offboarding process: Managing automated offboarding, collaborating with finance, IT, and other departments, conducting exit interviews, and sharing learnings.
4. HR system ownership: Managing Cezanne HR system, ensuring accurate processing of starters, leavers, promotions, and updates to formal documents.
5. HR inbox management: Leading efforts to automate and improve efficiencies.
6. Contractor compliance: Managing IR35 documentation and compliance.
7. Policy management: Keeping people policies current, relevant, transparent, and aligned with company values.
8. Payroll collaboration: Working with payroll advisors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
9. Data and reporting: Monitoring key metrics monthly, driving improvements, efficiencies, and employee experience enhancements.
10. Automation and systems integration: Driving smarter workflows through automation.
11. Learning and development support: Training the People & Culture team and managers on systems and automation.
12. Continuous improvement: Leading initiatives to enhance People Operations effectiveness and employee experience.
Qualifications include a strong track record in People Operations, experience with Cezanne HR, confident data handling skills, knowledge of employment law and IR35, and a solutions-focused, tech-savvy approach. Experience in product-led people experiences and previous roles in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG are desirable.
