A specialist school in Basildon is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant. We welcome applicants from surrounding areas such as Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Billericay, Wickford, Benfleet, Rayleigh, Canvey Island, Stanford-le-Hope and Grays.
About the School:
The school supports children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and is committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
The Role:
* Work 5 days a week within the school or college provision, supporting students with severe and complex needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
* Help improve student engagement, interaction, and attainment
* Learn and develop your skills as an LSA / TA / Support Worker
* Work closely with parents/carers to ensure continuity of support between school and home
* Bring a friendly, positive approach to teaching and learning, and quickly build strong relationships with individual children

Full-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Basildon-based
Previous school experience is welcomed, but not essential — graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, or anyone with relevant experience is encouraged to apply!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
