We Are Recruiting for an Approved Electrician Typical OTE: Up to £65,000 made up of basic hours, overtime, and travel time Job type: Full time and Permanent Note: This role includes frequent travel and stays away from home About the Role This opportunity has arisen from our ongoing success and growth in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for an Approved Electrician. As part of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for undertaking site electrical installations in line with Powersystems' strategy. Joining Powersystems as an Approved Electrician means helping to shape the future of clean energy. In return, we’ll support your development with qualifications and professional memberships. Due to the nature of our work, candidates will be required to travel and stay away from home. Duties and Responsibilities Undertake site electrical installations including lighting, power, tray/ladder, cable, and switchgear. Carry out inspections and testing on new and existing installations. Lead projects on-site, reporting to Site and Project Managers. Support high voltage teams on large installations. Mentor and coach apprentices and junior staff. Ensure safe working practices and compliance with H&S procedures. Maintain care for company equipment and assets. Contribute to company success and client satisfaction. Promote Powersystems’ core Principles: Health, Safety and Well-being, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership and Proactive. What You Need To Be Successful JIB approved ECS card holder. Time-served Approved Electrician with recognised apprenticeship and 18th Edition. Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent). Experience in electrical power sector and construction sites preferred. Commercial/industrial installation experience. Proactive and team-oriented approach. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills. Ability to travel and stay away with a full UK driving licence. Salary and Benefits Typical OTE up to £65,000 (base overtime travel). Potential tax-free subsistence up to £3,547.52 (based on 46 weeks away). Travel time paid door-to-door, with overtime available. Company clothing and PPE provided.
