Role: Design Technology Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a creative and practical Design Technology Teacher to support students across schools in Rotherham (S65, S66). This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoys hands-on learning and inspires students to develop design, problem-solving, and technical skills.
What to Expect in This DT Teacher Role:
* Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across a range of year groups.
* Plan and prepare practical and theory-based lessons that encourage creativity and innovation.
* Support students in developing skills in design, manufacturing, and evaluation.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and well-managed workshop or classroom environment.
* Assess student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement.
Requirements for This Design Technology Teacher Role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching Design Technology is desirable.
* Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
* Ability to inspire creativity and independent thinking.
* A professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
