About The Role What the role will entail Our Commercial Property Asset Management department has a vacancy for a Head of Treasury and Accounts Payable to provide support to the Partners and team. The role involves managing the Treasury and Accounts Payable teams on the day to day basis, dealing with personnel management, leading on reporting on the teams processing, assisting in prioritizing of tasks, building relationships with the key suppliers and helping drive innovations to improve efficiency of the teams. The purchase ledger team processes approx. 6-8,000 invoices a month the cashiering team will deal with £250m in client cash a quarter. What you will be responsible for Treasury To manage team of 4 Cashiers To ensure compliance with client money regulations To ensure all receipts and payments are processed daily and all bank details are validated To ensure all bank reconciliations are completed monthly and all unrecognized cash is dealt with on a timely basis To lead communication with senior leadership and team on performance and issues in relation to bank movements Purchase ledger To manage team of 6 accounts payable clerks To ensure purchase invoices are processed in an efficient manner. Provide reporting on the performance of the team To lead relationship with our largest suppliers especially utility companies Avoiding but dealing with any bailiff notices when received Looking at innovation and ensuring all changing regulations are known and adhered too What skills you will need Ability to communicate at all levels Good organisational skills Hardworking and enthusiastic Accuracy and efficiency in processing items Real Estate Experience Self-starter, problem solver Not essential but would be of assistance: MRI Horizon, Yardi Voyager Proactis & Proactis SRM Agile Document Solutions (formerly known as Edocs), Barclays.Net, Barclays VAM, RBS Bankline & RBS CMS.
