These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

* Work alongside the wider Product & Technology community to build a renewals calendar which can help to shape future conversations, feeding into the category and sourcing strategy
* Understand Technology roadmap to identify and help to shape a backlog of future requirements, leveraging your suppliers to bring their innovation to the table too
* Awareness of Technology budgets, flagging any in-flight requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) that may cause an impact
* Risk Management - if you spot something that doesn’t look right, either commercially or operationally, own the issue and work with stakeholders to mitigate this, in accordance with the JET Risk Framework
* Manage SLAs - help to ensure that both internal and external parties keep their contractual promises and that appropriate remedies are set in place for any breaches
* Develop and track KPIs - Keeping track of these in our Workday Strategic Sourcing platform
* Understanding service levels and how they may impact our business, feeding back any key findings which may help with large contract renewals to the Sourcing team
* Take care of renewals and/or RFPs to make sure JET purchases the best product for the best price

* Contract Management experience is highly desirable; you’ll partner with both stakeholders and our Legal Team to get initiatives across the line and would be expected to perform due diligence with relevant contracts
* Experience working for a global organisation, managing relationships with large Technology vendors across multiple geographies is highly beneficial
* An analytical mind. You’ll have to crunch some numbers from time to time
* A Techie with an inquisitive nature - do you know your API from your RDS, SQL or KLF? Our P&T community are open and accessible and will always offer help and advice when asked
* Knowledge of different licensing models, TCO, ROI and a good commercial acumen
* Problem management - sometimes things don’t work as planned. You’ll need to take an issue, work through it with your Product & Tech stakeholders, log updates (using JIRA or similar) and see it through to resolution, including working with Finance on any potential recompense
* Understand root cause analysis provided by a vendor and be bold enough to challenge an outcome
* Dispute resolution - an understanding of contractual rights and remedies would be helpful as would dealing with any fractious situations head-on
* Experience working with multiple internal parties, up to and including C-Level, feeling comfortable providing timely updates when required
* Solid and proven knowledge of modern technology concepts and systems
* Experience working with Agile based frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) - People over Process
* Solid process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts, as well as a wide range of tasks
* Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills to be applied in working with vendors across the entire contract life cycle
* If you’ve worked in detail with cloud management before (for us it’s AWS, although we use Google Cloud Platform and Azure too), that would be an advantage
