Job title: Citizens Advice Specialist Adviser Worcester and Herefordshire St Richards Hospice
Hours: 21 hours per week across 3 days, ideally Monday and Wednesday (Tuesday or Thursday may be considered for the right candidate)
Salary: £29,539.86 full time per annum, actual pro rata £16,765.87 per annum. Contract: Permanent. Location: Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT within the Family Support Service Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist advice in line with Citizens Advice aims, policies, and principles
* Support patients, carers, and families with a wide range of issues affecting those living with an incurable illness
* Manage a varied caseload, including complex cases and client representation
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment
About you
* Have substantial experience in advice work and case management
* Be confident in client representation and working with complex issues
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Have a good understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with an illness that cannot be cured, and those experiencing bereavement
* Be committed to the principles of the Citizens Advice service and willing to complete the Generalist Advice Training
Additional Requirements
* Ability to travel independently across the county
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
