The role requires ensuring full compliance of designs with Building Regulations and maintaining the "golden thread" of safety information.
Key Responsibilities include: Compliance: Take reasonable steps to ensure the design complies with all relevant building regulations and safety standards.
Principal Designer (BR): Act as the lead design dutyholder, planning, managing, and monitoring design work from RIBA Stage 2 onwards.
Safety Coordination: Review fire safety, structural integrity, and building regulations compliance at every stage.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records, technical specifications, and compliance declarations to meet BSR requirements.
Coordination: Actively manage and cooperate with other designers, contractors, and clients to ensure design integrity and safe construction. xxuwjjq
