Key Account Coordinator – Redruth, Cornwall with travel
About the role
Gwella are looking for a highly organised, proactive Key Account Coordinator to support our Key Account Manager in delivering an excellent service to our strategic clients. You will help coordinate activity across internal teams, keep key accounts running smoothly, and ensure clients receive timely updates, accurate reporting, and a consistent experience across regions.
This role is based in our Redruth office and includes travel to client sites and meetings alongside the Key Account Manager and Business Development Director.
Experience in account coordination, or a regulated industry is helpful. Knowledge of asbestos is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include
* Support the day to day coordination of multiple key client accounts across the business
* Build strong working relationships with key client contacts and internal teams
* Act as a central point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation
* Track agreed KPIs and support actions to improve service performance
* Coordinate client meetings, site visits and follow-up actions, ensuring notes and actions are captured and completed
* Produce weekly and monthly progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders
* Identify issues early, support resolution, and ensure outcomes are communicated clearly to clients
* Spot opportunities to add value, including upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and pass these to the Key Account Manager
About you
* Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a client focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Experience in problem solving and providing solutions based on client requirements
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Excel and Word), comfortable producing detailed reports
* Confident multitasker with the ability to prioritise workload
* Willingness and ability to travel between sites as required
Hours and location
Base: Redruth, Cornwall
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
