Responsibilities
:
Leadership and Team Management:
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Specification Sales Professionals to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team, promoting teamwork and accountability.
* Ensure exemplar usage of CRM system for account panning, opportunity management, and KPI reporting.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the BMS industry.
* Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and business opportunities to target for sales expansion.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and building owners.
* Understand clients' needs, preferences, and pain points to deliver customized BMS solutions and exceed customer expectations.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, recommendations, and solutions to address their specific challenges and requirements.
Business Development:
* Identify new business opportunities and pursue strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence in the BMS market.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and sales collateral to support business development efforts.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to capitalize on market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry, with a strong understanding of the specification sales process.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
* Deep knowledge of BMS products, solutions, and technologies, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and smart building systems.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales activities.
