Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Petrochemical Renewable Energy Project
Location: Liverpool, UK
Contract Length: 3 Months
Rate: £500/day (Outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a cutting-edge petrochemical renewable energy project based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative at the intersection of traditional energy and sustainable innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and execute mechanical commissioning activities on-site
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems are installed and operating to spec
3. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during commissioning
4. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
5. Produce and maintain detailed commissioning documentation
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in mechanical commissioning within petrochemical or renewable energy sectors
2. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and rotating equipment
3. Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
5. Right to work in the UK
