About us Summer Fields is situated in a quiet, well established residential area of Rock Ferry, near Birkenhead in the Wirral.
The Home is registered as a 50-bed residential home, offering long term emi residential care, respite, day care and short-term stays.
The home is registered to care for people on an emi residential basis as well as for people with dementia.
We have an excellent local reputation, and we are a popular local choice, providing residents with a welcoming, homely environment.

We are currently looking for a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.

We ensure that residents are able to still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this
Responsibilities
* To assist with care and support of the service users under the supervision of a senior in charge.
* To encourage and help promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a resident’s personal care plan.
* Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating.
* Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.

* A respectful, courteous, and compassionate nature and belief in giving your personal best at all times.
* Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.
* Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business.
* Desirable but not essential: A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 Previous experience is not required but would be welcomed.
