A London-based construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager who has previously worked on residential schemes and is seeking to develop their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy environment. The Project Manager will be involved in a range of residential-led developments across Greater London, supporting senior colleagues while gaining increasing autonomy on medium-scale schemes. This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys working in a client-facing role, is well-versed in the project lifecycle, and is confident managing consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will play a hands-on role in delivering residential projects, from feasibility and planning through to construction and handover. Responsibilities will include preparing project documentation, managing cost plans and timelines, coordinating design teams, and ensuring smooth delivery on-site.
The Project Manager will liaise directly with clients, monitor project risks, and ensure all regulatory and contractual obligations are met. This role offers excellent progression potential for a candidate looking to step up into more senior responsibilities over time.
The Project Manager
4-5 years of project management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment
Residential project experience is essential
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
Ideally working towards chartership (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similar)
Strong communication, organisational, and client liaison skills
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office
