We are excited to be working in partnership with a well-established Optical Specialist who have a fantastic hybrid full time permanent opportunity to join their team at their Farnham site! Our client is looking for a Recruitment Advisor to deliver a high quality, customer focused, pre-boarding journey.

Overview Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Recruitment Advisor to join their dynamic team. This role is essential to recruit talented people aligned with our values and DNA, who will help drive their business forward. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of HR processes alongside recruitment experience.

Responsibilities

Recruitment administration including but not limited to: - Offer letters and contracts of employment - Pre-employment checks including references, health questionnaire, professional registration, DBS checks, right to work and DVLA licence checks – Uniform and name badge ordering Provide first line advice & guidance to new starters ahead of commencement, referring queries to others as appropriate Update and maintain new joiner records, ensure that the quality of information held is accurate and up to date. Adhere to GDPR regulations at all time and ensure that the information provided to pre-joiners is up to date Liaise with and influence others within the business as required to ensure a seamless pre-boarding and onboarding process Conduct candidate searches via numerous platforms including Linkedin, CV Library and Indeed. Create a meaningful candidate pipeline, enabling successful recruitment against both personal and company targets/KPI’s Collaborate with the immediate Talent Acquisition team, the People Team and the wider business to work towards continuous improvement Provide administrative support to HR if needed Inform and inspire candidates throughout their journey, whilst ensuring candidates are adequately vetted in line with requirements Ensure all candidates are contacted in a timely manner and manage and support the entire interview process. This may require some travel to different business locations Build excellent relationships with key stakeholders throughout both businesses and attend regular stakeholder meetings, acting as the recruitment SME offering advice and solutions where appropriate Ensure the recruitment process is adhered to Create and publish appealing job adverts for our website, key job boards and social media platforms Service the LHC & THCP LinkedIn account with recruitment related activities Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source the best talent in the industry Attend occasional recruitment and business events as part of the recruitment team. This may include travel and overnight stays Liaise and manage key recruitment partners ensuring a productive, proactive working relationship which ensures candidates receive an industry leading experience Maintain high standards of personal appearance, timekeeping, attendance and respect for company property Undertake any other duties as reasonably required

Requirements

Proven recruitment and HR administration experience Experience in recruiting for a retail and/or clinical environment Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy Motivated, driven and a proactive team player Great communication skills both verbally and written Confident, able to advise and challenge stakeholders Ability to understand and explain policies and procedures Experience in creating strong relationships with stakeholders Understanding of an effective candidate journey Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Salary

From £28,000 per year
