We are delighted to be working alongside our client in Peterhead who is looking for a draughtsperson to join their growing team. This is a full time permanent position based in their Peterhead premises however, part time hours may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Produce Bill of Materials from detailed fabrication drawings. Produce Fabrication Drawings – Structural – Piping experience would be advantageous also. Produce Workshop Drawings to aid production. Checking Drawings received. General Drawing Office duties – upkeep of drawing register/drawing office files and folders. Ad hoc off-site surveys (onshore) – conduct off-site survey and transfer information onto drawing to allow fabrication in workshop. Supports office policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to. Liaises with other departments to agree timescales and plan performance of work; acts to ensure delivery by agreed deadlines. Essential skills, qualifications & experience: ONC (minimum) in an Engineering based course - although this may be overlooked due to candidate experience. CAD experience - AutoCAD minimum - Inventor advantageous but not essential. Confident in using Microsoft Office along with Excel Spreadsheets Problem solving skills Written communication skills Verbal communication skills Be self motivated and an analytical thinker Ability to work with staff at all levels Work flexibility to ensure delivery of work required Please note, only applicants who have the RTW in the UK and stay within daily commute distance to travel to Peterhead will be considered.
