Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for positive, highly motivated Advertising Telesales Coordinators to join our client’s busy, growing organisation. This role involves making outbound B2B telesales calls to prospective clients who should wish to advertise within our publications due to the nature of their business. You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and administrative processing to post-sale customer service and debt collection.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Prospecting

* Make outbound B2B telesales calls and follow up on issued communications from leads and direction provided.
* Target specific business categories and area listings to identify potential advertisers.
* Maintain a minimum call duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes per day within standard working hours.
* Identify leads and request formal sales letters for prospects as required.

Sales Administration

* Raise all necessary documentation once a sale is secured, including booking forms and "job bags".
* Process credit card payments at the time of booking using the appropriate forms.
* Collaborate with the Head Office admin team to ensure paperwork is dispatched to clients promptly.

Customer Relationship Management

* Conduct follow-up customer satisfaction calls after paperwork has been sent.
* Verify artwork accuracy and coordinate adjustments via phone or the design team's email.
* Communicate payment terms, including 5% prepayment discounts and invoice details.

Credit Control & Debt Management

* Take responsibility for chasing outstanding debts if payment is not received within 7 days of an invoice.
* Maintain consistent debt chasing for up to 3 weeks.


Candidate Requirements

While full training and support will be provided, the successful candidate must possess:

* A great telephone manner.
* Past telesales experience.
* High levels of motivation and the ability to cope under pressure.
* Experience in advertising sales (preferred but not essential).


Working Hours & Benefits

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (32.5 hours paid per week).

Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary: OTE of 30k+ per annum.
