Full time & Permanent:This role works on a Hybrid basis which requires a minimum of 2 days office attendance (40%). Location:Belfast office with regular travel across Northern Ireland and occasionally to other Electoral Commission offices in Cardiff, Edinburgh and London. The Devolution and Law Directorate is made up of the devolved teams in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales; Legal, and Legislation, Strategy and Coordination. The teams in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales manage the Electoral Commissions relationships with key partners including their respective Parliaments/Assemblies and governments and have specialist expertise in devolved matters. The Commission has commenced an exciting new journey with a new 5-year Corporate Plan full of exciting changes which will impact the way we in HR work and plan for the future including rolling out a new pay structure and performance management framework, increasing our organisational headcount and introducing performance base pay progression. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting this change. The Role The Partnership and Education Officer will support the Electoral Commissions work in Northern Ireland by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to increase voter engagement, participation and democratic education. They will assist in delivering the Commissions partnership strategy, ensuring outreach to under-represented communities. Experience of working with young people and under-represented communities? Experience of organising and facilitating outreach events, briefings, or training sessions? Experience of writing reports, briefings, and public-facing materials?
