About the Role
As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Providing one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs.
* Assisting with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
* Monitoring pupil progress and sharing feedback with the teacher.
* Promoting positive behaviour and upholding safeguarding standards.

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working in a KS1 setting (school or similar).
* A caring, proactive approach to supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
